The Mexican border police are investigating a gang that has seized more than 40,000 kilograms of cocaine and Viagra, a seizure that is likely to bring a huge number of people to the United States.
A group of people who were arrested last month in the southern state of Michoacan and were then transported to Mexico’s border are expected to be arrested by authorities next week.
Mexican authorities are working with the U. S. and international agencies to identify the suspects in the case, which has already been revealed to be a gang in Mexico. Ruiz said he has been in touch with U. Customs and Border Protection officials about the seizures of the men. A U. Customs agent told him to “stop the seizures” and “clear the border”.
In April, the U. Customs and Border Protection agents arrested another man, who was also in Arizona. Customs agent in the Arizona area told him that he was detained by U. Customs, and that the agents would have stopped the man’s person and luggage if he had not been detained.
According to Ruiz, one of the seizures was for Viagra, another for drugs, and he is now being held at the Mexican border.
“There is very little information on what they were doing,” Ruiz said. “They are working with the U. Customs and Border Protection, the U. Homeland Security Office, and the Mexican authorities.
